Every tool in this collection runs using the browser's Web Audio API and MediaRecorder. The voice recorder captures microphone input directly, the trimmer and converter decode and re-encode audio locally using an audio buffer, the text to speech tool uses the browser's built-in speech synthesis engine, and the tone generator synthesizes a waveform in real time using an oscillator node. Nothing is uploaded to a server to be processed — the audio stays on the device the entire time, start to finish.
Who uses these tools, and for what
Anyone recording a voice note, podcast snippet, or quick memo reaches for the voice recorder to capture audio without installing a separate app, then the audio trimmer to cut it down to just the useful part. The audio converter is useful when a platform only accepts WAV but the source file is MP3, OGG, or M4A. The text to speech tool turns written notes or a script into spoken audio for a quick listen-through or accessibility check, and the tone generator is handy for testing speakers, calibrating equipment, or producing a reference pitch.
