How the totals are calculated
Each line item's amount is its quantity multiplied by its rate. All line amounts are summed into a subtotal, tax is calculated as a percentage of that subtotal, and the two are added together for the final total — the same math shown live in the totals summary and reproduced exactly in the downloaded PDF.
