Add Watermark to PDF
Stamp a text or image watermark onto every page, with control over position, rotation, and opacity, entirely inside your browser.
How does this watermark tool work?
Your PDF is parsed directly in the browser, and a text or image watermark is drawn onto every page at the position, size, rotation, and opacity you choose. The original page content is left untouched underneath. Nothing is uploaded to a server at any point.

Features & benefits
Why this runs entirely in your browser
PDF files often contain sensitive or confidential documents, so nothing is uploaded to a server. Parsing and stamping the watermark all happens locally using your browser's own processing power, directly in the tab.
Common uses
Marking a draft document as "CONFIDENTIAL" or "DRAFT", stamping a company logo across shared reports, or labeling sample files before sending them out for review.
Frequently asked questions
A few things people usually want to know before trusting the numbers.
Not with this tool. The watermark is drawn permanently into the page content, so removing it afterward isn't possible from the resulting file — keep the original PDF if you might need an unmarked copy later.
JPG and PNG images are embedded directly. WebP, GIF, BMP, and other formats are automatically redrawn onto a canvas and converted to PNG first, since that's what the PDF format itself is able to embed.
That's the opacity setting — lower opacity makes the watermark more transparent so it doesn't obscure the page content underneath. Increase the opacity slider if you want it more visible.
PDFs that require a password just to open can't be processed, since the tool can't read their contents without that password. PDFs that only have owner or permission restrictions but no open password can usually still be watermarked without issue.
No. All processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript running on your own device. Nothing you upload here is ever sent to a server, stored remotely, or shared with anyone — closing the tab clears everything.
